In order us to accept remittance transaction; applicant must
present an appropriate, non-expired picture ID, regardless of application done
by person or by mail.
We only accept cash or postal money order not excess of $2,500.00 from each applicant.
Checks should be money order, certified check, teller’s
check or cashier check and be made payable to Vakifbank New York Branch. Personal
checks are not acceptable.
Remittance by check is not subject to $2,500.00
limitation, but there is some verification requirement in case of exceeding the
certain amount totaling within a year period. Please contact Vakifbank for
further information in this respect.
You may send remittance request by mail attaching a check
indicated above. Make sure the checks are prepared payable to Vakifbank New
York Branch. Transfer will not be executed on same day, If the check amount
subject to remittance exceeds $3,000.00 for clearing purposes. We herewith
display a remittance form that is very convenient to use for your instructions.
You may also use plain paper completing following information;
- Your name, address and telephone number
- Date of your instructions and amount you want to send
- Name and the branch of the bank where the recipient will get the money
- Name, address, telephone number of the recipient
- Your signature
- A copy of un-expired picture ID
Current fee for remittances as follows:
$20.00 For cash transactions up to amount $1,000.00 (including $1,000.00)
$30.00 For cash transactions over $1,000.00
$20.00 For checks Flat
